Design Engineers for automotive engines and transmissions need the high performance boost from the REM Isotropic Finishing Process. Metal-to-metal contact components such as bearings, gears, valve trains, connecting rods and crank shafts all have achieved performance increases when finished with the REM Process.
Longer LifeProcessed components show as much as a 30% gain in life cycle tests on metal to metal contact surfaces. Isotropic Finish produced a reduction of 10x in frictional forces when compared to an engineered ground finish More HorsepowerA 390 HP Car equipped with a T101 transmission showed a 5 HP gain over untreated gears on a chassis dyno. Isotropic Finish produced a 20x reduction in wear when compared to an engineered ground finish Less Friction and Less HeatProcessed components show as much as a 10x reduction in frictional forces and up to 20C degree reduction in operating temperature. Isotropic Finish produced a 20C degree reduction in sump oil temperature when compared to an engineered ground finish To find find out more about our REM Finishing services, give us a call at +1 724.536.6661

Bret Moyer from The Race Place at a speed of 170mph on the straight at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, CA during the Speedventures weekend November 8, 2015. Bret is racing in his Radical SR8. About the Radical SR8Radical Sportscars is a British manufacturer and constructor of racing cars. The company was founded in January 1997 by amateur drivers and engineers Mick Hyde and Phil Abbott, who built open-cockpit sportscars which could be registered for road use and run on a track without modification. Although most of Radical's sportscars are road legal, they also build some purpose-built racing cars.
About Speed VenturesSpeed Ventures was back in Fontana for a weekend of fun on The Roval. We where running at the open track days over the weekend at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif, running the course in counter-clockwise (CCW) configuration. Saturday was open track day and also featured the Bimmer Challenge and wheel-to-wheel action in SUPERMIATA and Speed Ventures Cup. On Sunday, the SV Cup and SUPERMIATA races where book-ended with the next rounds of S2K Challenge and Miata Challenge. |
